Neds Bar Sunday February 24th 2013

In Aid of Blanchardstown Hospice

€ 5,000

Well folks we did it again, on Sunday the 24th of February 2013, we gathered in Ned's Bar, Blackhorse Avenue, to remember our good friends that have gone before us from that musical enigma that was Mulligan. For the past eight years, friends & musicians have gathered to remember Jim Daly and P.J. Kelly and more recently, Teddy Delamere and Jonnie Doyle. The past few years we have used this gathering as a way, with the help of the management of Cumiskey’s, to raise money for St Francis Hospice Blanchardstown.  Last year we raised over 4000 euro from our sponsors, our usual bar buckets and of course our mega raffle. This year we have reached nearly €5000 euro and we are still waiting on the final tally. There are so many people we have to thank for this wonderful support. Our sponsors who give so generously every year and of course everyone who donated prizes for our mega raffle. Special thanks to Maurice from Bull Hurls who donated a hurley  signed  by the great Dublin hurlers.  As a thank you to all our sponsors we keep a link on our website in gratitude. Please visit our sponsor’s page for more info.  Once again this year you gave your support to this wonderful organization, who depend completely on volunteers and fundraising to supplement state aid which falls so far short of their needs.  Thank You so much. To the people who organise this every year, Gerry Touhey, Dave Ecock and Shay McDonough who keep the memory alive,

Thank you guys….
